Perkin-Elmer is a global technology leader providing products and services to customers in health sciences and other advanced technology markets.
Their Cambridge production centre was tasked with transforming all assembly areas into lean cells, part of this challenge involved including buffing operations that, though delicate, generate high levels of dust. Until this point these processes had to remain isolated in a seperate room to prevent contamination.
Defuma were tasked with solving their problem.
