Graphicraft manufacture all types of adhesive stickers for supply to the Boating, Aircraft and Caravan idustries using Screen-printing and Flow-printing processes. They recently moved from there old smaller premises into a larger modernised production unit in Bedford, the existing extraction system was old and not very efficient and Defuma was contracted to design and install a system to deal with the removal of the fumes generated during their manufacturing processes.
The Solution
Defuma's solution was to install a single extraction plant that was flexible enough to allow movement of the drying racks that hold vast numbers of prints, this flexibility allows unrestricted movement of the production over a large area.
An additional system was designed and installed on a dedicated Resin bed using Push-Pull air flow technology to allow full extraction without interfering with their normal working practices.
Since completion, these systems have helped Graphicraft improve production and efficiency, whilst providing their workforce with protection from potentially harmful contaminants.
